Retreat Location:

This past weekend family and couple friends joined me to test out a new retreat location. We landed at Serenity Place between Olds & Didsbury. It is an enchanting little farm with tonnes of charm as well as an interesting history. We were fed like queens (over fed with homemade cooking & baking including tasty cinnamon buns, etc.) and had ample workspace for 6 people to attend.

Sundre Sept. Workshop:

There are still spaces available if you are wanting to attend this months workshop on Fri, Sept. 18th or Sat. Sept. 19th. The project on the Saturday is a Halloween double page layout as per the image below:



Roll technique used on torn black edges as well as the orange torn edge....I rolled the edges to give it a dimensional look but didn't add much bulk to the page.

Theme: 2 Mini Album Classes - Chipboard 7x6: Coverbook Mini Album plus a 4x4" Accordian Pocketbook Mini Album class

Cost: $55.00 includes rent, lunch & supper on Sat., supplies and give aways!

January 15th & 16th: Summer Double Page Layout
Times: Fri. night 6-11pm & Sat. 9-5 with project starting at 10:00am

February 19th & 20th: 10 Double Page Layout Weekend
Theme: 10 double page layouts in 2 days, all pre-designed & pre-cut for you. All you have to do is assemble the pages according to the instructions and color photos included.
Bring your adhesives, pencil, ruler, inks (brown & black), Glue Dots & a paper piercer.
Times: Fri. night 6-12am & Sat. 9-5
Cost: $75.00 includes rent, lunch on Sat. and all supplies

March 19th & 20th: Outdoors Double Page Layout
Times: Fri. night 6-11pm & Sat. 9-5 with project starting at 10:00am

April 16th & 17th: Baby Bree Double Page Layout (Not a baby only layout...but it is a pink one)
Times: Fri. night 6-11pm & Sat. 9-5 with project starting at 10:00am

May 14th & 15th: National Scrapbook Day - 2 Day Event
Theme: Wall Art - Scrapbook on a Painted Canvas Class + Wallet Bragbook project
Times: Fri. night 6-11pm & Sat. 9-5 with project starting at 10:00am
Cost: Fri. night $6.00 & Sat. $20.00 includes rent, lunch & double page layout supplies/instructions.

Cancellation Policy:
Classes are designed for a max. of 10 attendees, but will not run if a minimum of 5 are booked. If you cancel last minute or do not show up for your workshop, you are still responsible for the workshop fees.
If you do need to cancel you must contact me no later than 2 weeks prior to the event or you are still responsible for the workshop fees or you must find someone to take your spot.
This policy applies to everyone, otherwise I will not be able to continue these workshops.

Sundre June Workshop?

There will not be a Sundre workshop for the month of June, sadly due to my personal schedule of family reunions, pre-grad celebrations with cherished friends and a scrapbook retreat getaway that I get to run away to there just isn't a stitch of time available.
I will post over the next few weeks what is going to be happening over the summer months and see what kind of response I get from everyone. Remember I need a minimum of 5 confirmed attendees before I can make the trip to Sundre for a workshop.

P.S. Don't forget, if you have a theme or project that you would like ideas on drop me a line and it just may become the next months workshop!
